Tour dates:

December 14 - 23, 2024

Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta

Jhaimy is a Traditional Curandero (Healer) from Cusco, Peru who has been trained and initiated in the Wisdom Teachings of the Andes. Jhaimy began his initiation onto this path at a young age as an apprentice to his Traditional Elders and has now walked the committed path of a Wisdomkeeper for over 30 years. Photo by: Chip Duncan

Juan de dios Kucho

Juan de Dios Kucho, originally from the city of Cusco, lives in Aguas Calientes. He has received a great initiation with the spirit of Apu Machu Picchu to elevate the Cosmic Consciousness of humanity, and to purify and regenerate the planet – ushering in The Great Pachakuteq, the new era of transformation.

Walking the Path of Munay with Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta

Qoricancha

We begin our journey in the heart of Cusco at Qoricancha , the “Golden Temple” in Quechua. Here Jhaimy will introduce us to the ceques or ritual pathways radiate outwards, connecting all the temples. Qoricancha will give us a strong grounding and context for the Andean teachings.

Sacsayhuaman

Sacsayhuaman is the temple of the head of the puma overlooking Cusco. It connects us with the labyrinth of the mind where we can be reborn into a new state of consciousness.

Pisac

Learn the genetic coding and seeds for the new humanity that the Ancestors of this region were cultivating for thousands of years.

Killarumiyok

Killarumiyok is connected to the energy of the moon and to the energy of creation and cycles of nature. Here we will participate in a full day Sacred Ceremony with Jhaimy and the Master Huachuma.

Ollantaytambo

Ollantaytambo Temple will connect us to the teachings of the four elements and the Llama - Service of Love. On the way back to our hotel, we will have a special Peruvian dinner at Tunupa.

Wiñay Wayna

The train will drop us off on the last leg of the Incan trail. Today we will hike up the mountain to Wiñay Wayna, the temple of eternal life. We will reflect on our legacy – what we create and pass on to future generations. This is also the place of the sacred orchid. From here, we walk to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate.

Sacred Solstice Ceremony with Kucho

Wilka Mayo

After receiving the blessings of eternal life from Wiñay Wayna, we enter Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate. That evening we will overnight in Aguas Calientes in a boutique hotel on the Wilka Mayo, the sacred river that wraps around Machu Picchu. The Wilka Mayo will cleanse and purify our minds in order to prepare us for the Solstice journey.

Machu Picchu Citadel

Early the next morning, we welcome Tata Inti, the father sun, from the citadel and spend the day aligning ourselves with the energetic centers of the temple. We will discover the chakras of the mountain and give offerings to the Apus (spirits of Machu Picchu) to work with the Master in ceremony. We will also enjoy a special buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge.

Huayna Picchu

On December 21st we welcome the Solstice in Huachuma ceremony with Kucho. As we ascend Huayna Picchu mountain, we will receive the energy and power of the crystal city, the Heart of the Mountain of Apu Machu Picchu. During the ceremony, Kucho will communicate with the spirit of the ancestors through the sacred geometry and portals of the temple and Wakas (Sacred Sites).
